Meet the Team

I am a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and advocate committed to transforming communities through equity, creativity, and service. As Chief Operating Officer (COO), I lead with purpose and compassion—overseeing strategic operations, workforce development, and program implementation. I ensure our systems are effective, client-centered, and built to serve diverse populations with dignity, access, and culturally competent care.

Proudly Haitian-American and Crucian, grounded in my Christian faith, and the second of five daughters, my leadership style is shaped by my faith and family values—rooted in integrity, empathy, service, and justice.

I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology and am a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), combining academic expertise with direct experience in behavioral health. My career spans healthcare administration, education, the performing arts, and nonprofit leadership—where I focus on strengthening systems that promote mental wellness, community healing, and equity.

I serve as the Artistic Director of Jules Performing Arts and Learning Center and am the Founder of Jules LEGACY Entertainment. Through these organizations, I use the arts to inspire healing, empowerment, and social change—while nurturing creativity, education, and self-expression. I also serve as Co-Director of Marie’s Kitchen of Love, a nonprofit dedicated to providing meals and community health services to those in need in Haiti and surrounding Caribbean islands.

As a respected community leader, I’m an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and the NAACP, where I advocate for civil rights, mental health awareness, and educational equity. In 2018, I was crowned the inaugural Ms. Caribbean USA Full-Figured Queen—a platform I continue to use to celebrate cultural pride, body diversity, and inclusive representation, amplifying the voices of those too often unheard.

I am passionate about building environments that empower both individuals and systems to thrive. My legacy is one of impact—where creativity meets strategy, and every initiative is guided by my unwavering belief in equity, access, and transformative change.

With an educational and professional background in healthcare administration I take pride in understanding the multifaceted dynamics within, and the delivery of, healthcare services. 

I uphold the belief that straightforward- structured, client centered delivery of care will always positively impact patient outcomes. 

From a perspective of chart compliance and insurance utilization review, upholding client centered care potentially leads to more clinically sound care plans, better patient outcomes and promotes a positive reputation among insurance providers and guarantors.

Ultimately, the driving force behind my passion to do this work comes from the importance that I place on being spiritually grounded in God. This promotes personal emotional wellness and perpetuates wisdom.

I am Dr. Ballesteros-Bowman, a first-generation high school, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduate in my family. Born to Honduran and Black parents, originally from Los Angeles, CA. I am a 2025 graduate of The Chicago School, where I earned my doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in GA and DC, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. My clinical experience and specialties include a variety of supportive services. Individual counseling focuses on anger management and anxiety, particularly for those who find themselves facing anxious episodes like excessive worry that feels overwhelming. I also provide support for those struggling with depression, where clients may notice a decrease in interest in things they once enjoyed, coupled with fatigue and anxious distress. I am passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA community, guiding individuals through life-changing events like coming out and transitioning. Additionally, I provide pre-marital counseling that covers essential topics that help couples build a strong foundation. Furthermore, I provide essential resources for Military Active Duty and Veterans dealing with military sexual trauma and PTSD, ensuring they receive the care they deserve. 

Education is one of the core values that drives my life, stemming from the consistent support of my mother. My Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral, and Existentialist approach will be showcased through the educational lens that reflects my passion for education. Through the Adlerian lens, I will focus on each individual’s style of life and help provide them with resources to support them. Implementing a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I will focus on helping to recognize one’s distortions, reevaluate them, and utilize the individual’s strengths. Executing through the Existentialist lens, the focus would be on understanding more about an individual’s meaning for their purpose. I tremendously enjoy being around, getting to know, and talking to people. My passion stems specifically from helping others by providing a listening ear. For me, one of the best feelings is helping someone turn a negative into a positive. I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, friends, and sorority sisters in my downtime, traveling, and watching my favorite show, Law and Order SVU.
